Yas Waterworld Waterpark

The artificial island of Yas, 35 km from Abu Dhabi, has become the epicenter of entertainment in the region, concentrating the most popular tourist sites on its territory: the Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World theme parks, the Yas Marina racing track, and the largest water park in the emirate.

Yas Waterworld Waterpark was opened in January 2013, adding to the list of the largest water parks in the Middle East. This is not surprising, because its area equals 15 hectares with more than 40 attractions, some of which are exclusive. The huge territory of this water city, created in the Arab fairy tale style, makes it possible to welcome 6 thousand visitors at the same time.

Water rides

Bandit bomber is a suspended version of the roller coaster. The height of some sections of the track reaches 35 m, and the length is 515 m. Adrenaline levels are increased by periodic shelling from water guns.

Hamlool's Humps and Jebel Drop are the highest roller coasters for true adrenaline junkies; at their top, you can barely see the people below.

Liwa Loop is chilling fun, consisting of the contestant being closed in a capsule standing on a platform from under his feet and the daredevil rushing down the closed tunnel.

Sebag: descent from the slides on special mats, the results are recorded on the scoreboard, and the record holder is announced at the end of the day.

Slither Slides are classic slides with open and closed areas of various diameters. The highlight of this attraction is the original decoration you see in the final part: a snake's head, from which rolling people get into a warm pool.

Dawwama and Falcon's Falaj are group tubing rides.

Wave pools

Rush Rider with its calm waves is ideal for those looking to learn the basics of surfing. In this pool, you can also ride lying on board.

Amwaj Wave Pool simulates sea surf and is the perfect place for relaxation.

Bubble's Barrel is the largest wave setup that creates three-meter-high waves. It is a haven for experienced surfers who can enjoy wave-conquering 365 days a year without the possibility of a pleasure being spoiled by the weather at sea.

Children's areas

Tot's Playground is a pool with a slide for the youngest guests of the water park.

On the Yehal playground for older kids, there are 3 slides and tubs of water.

Mara Fortress is a zone designed for school-age children, where they can frolic on slides, pour water from a vat, shoot water cannons and play various interactive games.

Water city rivers

The high-speed Yadi Yas River flows through the entire water park, inviting you to ride on the crest of its waves.

The lazy river Al Raha attracts all fans to a relaxing holiday with a leisurely boat trip.

Entertainment that has no analogues in the world

Yes, we are talking about The Pearl Diving Experience. This attraction provides a unique opportunity to try your luck in pearl fishing: after going through the briefing, mastering the technique of holding your breath, and diving to a depth, the guest of the water park dives to the bottom of the pool to get a shell. The pearl that was caught remains with the catcher or a commemorative jewel is made from it. The cost is not included in the price of the entrance ticket.

Learning the basics of Arabic calligraphy is a pleasant experience for those who want to master the Arabic alphabet and learn how to write their name in an oriental style.

A quest called "The Legend of the Lost Pearl" invites everyone to become a part of an oriental fairy tale, go on an exciting journey, and search for the lost pearl in the footsteps of the beautiful girl Dana, moving from one attraction to another. The mission is noble, as the treasure will return happiness and luck to Dana's people.

A water cinema appeared in Yas Waterworld in 2018, becoming the first in the world. The movie show is accompanied by various special effects: water explosions, waterfalls, changing the position of the seats, etc.

Yas Waterworld facilities

In addition to a huge variety of attractions, the water park also offers many restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops, and a photo center where people can print photos of their vivid emotions captured by local photographers. Having rented a comfortable bungalow, you can get rest and forget about the noise in the coolness of the air conditioner, enjoying a fruit plate.

All visitors to the park are given a bracelet, which, in addition to storing the locker keys, acts as a credit card. You can transfer a certain amount of money to it, and pay using them on the territory of the water park. Unused funds are returned at the exit.
