Green Planet: a Brief Account

Green Planet is a 4-story complex of 2016, where the Amazon rainforest ecosystem has been recreated to the smallest detail. The exterior of the building is designed in a futuristic style and resembles origami.

The interior is a giant 25-meter multi-tiered artificial tree with more than 3,000 species of exotic plants, birds, and animals around it. The architectural creature is within walking distance of Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall Metro Station and Dubai Petroleum Corporation 1 bus stop. You can get there by bus C14, 7, 28, and 81. 

Under The Roof of Green Planet

The main component of the Green Planet project is education. With the help of excursions and lectures, the center staff introduces children to the animal world. It is strictly forbidden to touch plants and feed animals not to disturb their habitat's safety and naturalness.

A fascinating journey begins with the first tier – the water where fish and turtles live. When you get into a building, the first thing you notice is the air. It is different here – fresh and moist. It feels good.

It is better to inspect the complex from top to bottom. Take the elevator to the top floor and carefully review level after level. After all, the building has so many interesting, fascinating, and exciting things. Each level of the complex is inhabited by various representatives of different climatic and geographical zones.

Green Planet birds and animals move freely around the building and watch visitors with interest. Of course, dangerous to human life, representatives of the fauna are protected from visitors. But with great desire, and in the employee’s presence, you can touch them. It’s such an adrenaline rush.

Who can you meet on the Green Planet? Everyone: sloths, parrots, cockatoos, toucans, and a variety of reptiles and insects. Just imagine, walking through the territory, you will plunge into the atmosphere of the real tropics. On the one hand, you see a variety of insects you’ve met in the pages of books and documentaries; on the other, you see a funny sloth, a monkey, a lizard, a turtle, or numerous birds. There is always an atmosphere of feast, fun, and big adventure for children and adults.
