The total volume of water is about fourteen million liters, which is equivalent to six Olympic swimming pools.

The design concept represents urban motifs of sunken apartments, a garage, various arcades, and urban landscapes, which immediately creates an atmosphere of unimaginable surrealism and references to the legendary "Water World". Among other things, the complex is well equipped technically: the most modern pressure chamber in the region is located here, dry compartments are located at a depth of six and twenty-one meters, and 56 video cameras film everything from all possible angles over the entire area of depth and diameter. An additional effect is made by special sound and audio systems. Moreover, water is purified every six hours by filtering with volcanic rocks specially developed by NASA specialists; ultraviolet lighting is also used in this filter system, which is one of the largest filter systems in the world. For a comfortable pastime, the water temperature is maintained at thirty degrees Celsius. Conference centers and other venues for events and meetings are also located here.

The outer facade is made in the form of an oyster, as a monument to pearl divers. The total area of one and a half thousand square meters, among other things, accommodates a souvenir shop, diving equipment, and equipment store. There is also a restaurant designed for eighty visitors, who will have access to unique views of diving adventurers.

At the same time, Deep Dive Dubai is designed not only for experienced athletes but also for those who do not have experience at all. There is a team of highly qualified experts and trainers from all over the world; it is possible to conduct courses and issue international certificates, and instructors are being trained as well. Both scuba diving and freediving are available, and the applicants must be at least 10 years old.

The director of DDD is Jarrod Jablonsky, a cave diving record holder. He promises that diving here will be a real surprise and provide people with an ocean of emotions. The main task of the employees is to make every visit to the pool a really unforgettable event and a memory for a lifetime. At the same time, safety and quality of customer service are priorities.

The project was created and presented to the world by the Al Habtoor company, which a few years ago delighted Dubai residents and visitors to the city with the popular water theater La Perle by Dragone. This is an enchanting show that amazes with fantastic sketches, dizzying performances, a real scattering of actors, gymnasts, and extreme athletes, masterfully embodying a beautiful Arabian fairy tale under the guidance of the world-famous director and producer Franco Dragone.

Therefore, the new brainchild of Al Habtoor excites the imagination, and promises a unique experience and impressions for a lifetime. The official opening of the pool was July 2021, and the cost of the packages starts from eight hundred dirhams, which is approximately equal to 220 US dollars. The diving center is located in Nad al-Sheba 1, close to the hippodrome and the Meydan Hotel, which is home to the annual World Horse Racing Championship.
