Souk Al Bahar

Souk Al Bahar (translated as Sailor’s Market) is a small but cozy Arabic-style mall located by the Burj Khalifa lake in Downtown Dubai. Souk Al Bahar is right across the pond from Dubai Mall and is linked to it by a small bridge.

Walking through the narrow corridors of the souk takes you back in time. The scent of the spices combined with the smell of freshly brewed coffee and baked bread create a unique nostalgic aura.

There are more than 100 stores that offer to the visitors a wide variety of merchandise in ladies & gentlemen fashion, sportswear, bags & footwear, jewelry, carpets, works of art & antiques and gifts & souvenirs.

There are numerous restaurants and cafés, most of them facing the lake waterfront, which combine excellent international cuisine with front-row seats to watch the Dubai Fountain show. Worth mentioning restaurants are Bice Mare, Sammach and Meat & Co.
