Wafi City is a themed mixed-use complex in Oud Metha locality of Bur Dubai. The architectural design of Wafi City refers directly to Egypt’s Pharaonic past. The whole project evolves around Wafi Mall and the Raffles Dubai hotel.
Opened in 2001, Wafi Mall was created with the idea of providing “high-class shopping at affordable prices” in mind. With over 350 retail stores and more than 30 food outlets, Wafi Mall appeals to both residents and tourists. The Pyramids, a complex located inside the Mall, hosts a number of restaurants, cafes, as well as Pharaoh’s Club and Cleopatra’s Spa, two of the most popular fitness and wellness destinations in Dubai. Wafi Mall is also home to a splendid replica of a 14th century souk, the Khan Murjan Souk.
The pyramid shaped Raffles Dubai hotel, a 5 star luxury hotel, started welcoming its guests in November 2007. Raffles Dubai is advertised as having the largest rooms and suites in Dubai and has 4 presidential suites designed to reflect the four elements: water, earth, wind and fire.
Wafi City is also hosting Wafi Residence, an eleven-floor residential building with luxurious furnished apartments in the first three floors and unfurnished apartments in floors four to ten.
