What's new in Dubai?

In 2010, the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, approved a new development program for the emirate. As part of it, the progress of the city has acquired simply amazing pace. The speed with which this place began to transform changed the picture of the surrounding world beyond recognition. We can say that when you come to this place every five years, you find yourself in a completely new city.

Advertised projects for each subsequent year are more reminiscent of clips from science fiction films about the future. The official discoveries of incredible projects make you don't trust your eyes and allow you to touch the fairy tale in reality. Here it has become a good tradition and a habit, the pace of progress cannot be slowed down and it is necessary to keep the brand. But we must pay tribute to the wise and far-sighted leadership of the emirate, they are not going to slow down.

Everything new in Dubai is amazing, and the timing of the creation of these miracles simply makes people admire and applaud.

Most recently, a long-awaited event took place - the opening of the world's largest Observation wheel Ain Dubai. It is located on one of the man-made islands of Bluewaters Island. From a height of 250 meters, a stunning view of all the main attractions of the city opens, such as the Burj Khalifa skyscraper, the prestigious Dubai Marina, the Persian Gulf, dissected by dozens of snow-white yachts, the famous Burj Al Arab sail-shaped hotel, the grandiose man-made island Palm Jumeirah and much more.

Another novelty has opened on Palm Island itself. The View at The Palm observation deck crowns the luxurious futuristic skyscraper The Palm Tower, located in the heart of the island. The peculiarity of this site is in the 360° view, which is possible due to its unique design. The open terrace is framed by a special glass railing with a slope of 45°, thanks to which a perfect view of the breathtaking panorama is achieved. From here, you can see the Ferris wheel in all its glory, get a different perspective on the Dubai Marina and the azure waters of the Persian Gulf, and get a better look at the outlines and unique shape of the island itself.

Another amazing place to review the best sights of Dubai is presented in the city center. This is a completely new venue that opened at the end of 2021 in the Sky Views Towers complex. The observation deck bearing the same name Sky Views differs from the rest, as it is also a dizzying entertainment that includes three rides at an altitude of more than 200 meters above the ground. Get ready for an adrenaline rush as you slide down the glass slide on mats or go outside the building, hanging over the abyss with the help of special equipment.

The year 2021 pleased the residents and guests of Dubai with many novelties, among which one can single out a unique object of its kind dedicated to lovers of deep diving. We are talking about the ultra-modern complex for diving called Deep Dive Dubai. Even before opening, it was included in the Guinness Book of Records, becoming the deepest diving pool in the world with a depth of 60 m 2 cm. Having dived underwater, you find yourself in a real city, among sunken streets, apartments, garages, arches, and other premises, creating a unique atmosphere of surrealism. In addition, the complex is well equipped from the technical side. The best pressure chamber in the region is located here, two special air compartments have been created at a depth of 6 and 21 meters, and continuous video recording is carried out from 56 cameras located almost in every corner.

In February 2022, Dubai has presented to the world another masterpiece - the Museum of The Future, which can take you decades, and possibly hundreds of years ahead. An amazing building in the shape of a torus acquaints the world with the best inventions of mankind and provides every visitor with the opportunity to touch the technologies and research that can change life on Earth for the better. Each of the four levels represents a separate thematic area and will consist of exhibition elements, an immersion theater that immerses each guest in a simulated reality, and a themed attraction designed to travel back in time and feel the atmosphere of the distant future.

As you can see, the UAE is ready to surprise with new attractions almost every day. The creators of the city still have many ambitious ideas that they are in a hurry to present to the world, but the Touristino team always keeps abreast of events and will acquaint you with the most interesting things in Dubai.
