Burj Khalifa

  • Burj Khalifa

Burj Khalifa, named to honour the president Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, is the focal point of Downtown Dubai. Its 829.8 m length makes Burj Khalifa the tallest building in the world. It is a mixed-use building with Armani Hotel occupying the first 39 floors. The rest of the 154 usable floors are occupied by residencies and offices.

Construction in Burj Khalifa started in January 2004. The official opening ceremony, on January 4th, 2010, featured a spectacular sound and light show and a 10,000 fireworks display. Burj Khalifa is holding a number of world records confirmed by the Guinness World of Records, including among others the records for tallest building, tallest man-made structure on land, tallest building elevator, most floors in a building, highest observation desk, highest restaurant from ground level and highest residential apartments.

The observation desk at Level 148 as well as Levels 124 and 125 are opened to the public. Visiting Burj Khalifa is a life time experience. You will be left speechless by the breathtaking views of Dubai and the surrounding area. At.Mosphere, the restaurant at the 122nd floor, will be adding its culinary touch to the picture. Chef Jerome Lagarde will make sure that your visit to his establishment will be as memorable as your visit to Burj Khalifa.
